Week 6 Post 2

Post Reach is the number of people who visited your page, saw your page or a published post from your page. Basically, anyone who encountered our page or postings. However, Post Reach excludes ads. Post Engagement on Facebook is when anyone performs any type of action on your post is. This could be a like, a comment or a share. Anything that helps your company. This is typically when some goes out of their way to voice their opinion on something about you company or product.

Post Reach can be seen as the surface while Post Engagement can be seen as the depthness. Both are critical but post engagement is more important. What would be the point of reaching a lot of people that are not that interested. It is better to reach 1 million people that are engaged or pertain to the subject rather than 30 million people that will just ignore your post every time you have something to share.

This has made me realize that if one wants to have a very successful page, it needs to have attention but more importantly it needs to have engagement. Facebook Insights gives you all the statistics on everything about your page. How many people visited your page, how many likes you last post received, how many people shared your posts, and all sorts of user interaction. This can be a great tool to see that type of changes needs to be made to be even more successful.
