Week 8 Post 1

I think that social media outlets like facebook and Instagram might be helpful in building a brand for my company but I feel like I need much more than that. I feel like social media will get our name out there but we must take other measures to truly establish ourselves in the competitive industry of education. Student Success will first reach out to California Community Colleges and show them why this application can bring solutions to so many problems that community colleges have. There are millions of college students that have problems ranging form what to to major into all the way up to get getting internship or business opportunities. Having these interactions with other websites, it will increase the amount of traffic that will be brought into your page. The more activity that you have the more that others will visit your page.

1. Naviance: Has general information about higher education, extremely valuable connection. 2. Blackboard: Program used in schools for information about student’s classes, valuable connection 3. Common Application: Application website used for freshman and transfer applications, very valuable connection 4. Harvard University: World renowned university, if we get recognition from this school our product will launch much better, valuable connection 5. Grammarly: Very popular editing website, used for educational purposes, valuable connection 6. Quizlet: Flashcards used for studying for classes, used for educational purposes, valuable connection 7. Course Hero: Notes and answers used for studying, used for educational purposes, valuable connection All of these connections will start helping our company build a brand!

Week 6 Post 2

Post Reach is the number of people who visited your page, saw your page or a published post from your page. Basically, anyone who encountered our page or postings. However, Post Reach excludes ads. Post Engagement on Facebook is when anyone performs any type of action on your post is. This could be a like, a comment or a share. Anything that helps your company. This is typically when some goes out of their way to voice their opinion on something about you company or product. Post Reach can be seen as the surface while Post Engagement can be seen as the depthness. Both are critical but post engagement is more important. What would be the point of reaching a lot of people that are not that interested. It is better to reach 1 million people that are engaged or pertain to the subject rather than 30 million people that will just ignore your post every time you have something to share.
